Recent years have seen a continuous discussion of the challenges posed to legal and political studies by technological innovation and new research methods. The pandemic led to a new era, dominated largely by online teaching and an increased usage of podcasts and online material as teaching methods. In 2021 -a year of transition to a more normal state of affairs- the School of Law continued developing cutting-edge education, making full use of interactive materials and methods, while supporting the critical engagement of its Faculty in (multidisciplinary) research. The 2021 Annual Review includes the highlights, events, publications and distinctions of our School and Faculty, attesting that it remains one of the most active in the region.
