Portfolio Competition | “Creativity and Innovative Ideas” for the Programmes of study in Architecture and Interior Design
Get the chance to win scholarships for the programme of study of Architecture or Interior Design
If art, architecture, design and crafts are among your favourite interests, and your dream is to study in the areas of Architecture or Interior Design, then you can participate in the “Creativity and Innovative Ideas” portfolio competition, for a chance to win a scholarship to study at the University of Nicosia.
Scholarship Awards:
- 3 Academic Scholarships (75% – 50% – 25%) for the undergraduate programme of study in Architecture (MArch, BAArch)*
- 3 Academic Scholarships (75% – 50% – 25%)for the undergraduate programme of study in Interior Design (BA) *
* The scholarship covers tuition fees for the first Academic Year only and excludes books and other fees, such as application fees etc.
In case of securing two (2) or more scholarships, the scholarship with the highest tuition fee reduction rate applies. Scholarship competition is open only to new applicants for Fall 24 who meet the entry criteria for the program.
Participants are required to submit three (3) personal artworks (such as drawings, photographs, models and sketches) in either PDF or JPEG format.
The work will be assessed by faculty members of the department, based on the following criteria:
- Skills
- Creativity
- Innovation
Once the submission period ends, the Department of Architecture will carefully review each application and portfolio to select the most promising candidates.

Department of Architecture
The Department of Architecture at the University of Nicosia has gained a successful reputation in the region, by offering a highly-personalised education that prepares students for the ever-changing future.
