The young and vibrant Department of Architecture occupies an award-winning renovated shoe factory, now known as the Architecture Research Centre (ARC). The department has gained a successful reputation in the wider Mediterranean region, by offering a highly-personalised education that prepares you for the everchanging future.
Our faculty are internationally acclaimed architects, dedicated to teaching, professional practice, research, and community service. This is reflected in the numerous prestigious international awards received by our students and faculty in the last three years.

The department caters to diversity. Global issues are addressed and merge with local conditions of culture, climate, the local market/industry and social needs. Ecological and sustainable thinking are highly valued, providing the necessary tools of context, comprehension and application of social, environmental and cultural aspects.
The programme is taught entirely in English, (the first 2 years are also taught in Greek) and is fully accredited by European and national professional bodies. The combination of knowledge and technical expertise makes our graduates some of the most highly valued in the local and international market.
