The University of Nicosia successfully hosted the Mediterranean and International conferences organised within the framework of the European Union funded project entitled ‘Water Development Resources: Opportunity Policies for the Water Management in Semi-Arid Areas’ (Acronym: Water-DROP).
The 24-month long project was funded by the competitive calls programmed for adding additional beneficiaries to the FP7 FET Flagship Human Brain Project (HBP) to two partners, the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands and the University of Nicosia, Cyprus.
The University of Groningen in the Netherlands has initiated the prestigious Rosalind Franklin Fellowship (RFF) programme to promote the advancement of talented international researchers at the highest levels of the institution.
