Dr Christina Theodoulidou

Dr. Christina Theodoulidou is a Registered Counselling Psychologist. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Greece, she completed a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology in the United Kingdom. Dr. Theodoulidou has worked for a number of years in the English National Health Service, initially as a Specialist Psychologist and consequently as a Senior Psychologist. Her clinical interests are mainly in the field of adult psychopathology and most of her work experience has been within multidisciplinary community mental health teams. She has experience in working with a wide range of psychological difficulties and has worked in various organisations over the years, in primary, secondary and tertiary care, as well as in the non-statutory sector. She has lectured on Applied Postgraduate Programs in Counselling and Clinical Psychology and has been involved in offering clinical supervision to Post-graduate and Doctoral Psychology trainees, qualified staff as well as consultation to mental health services. Her research interests include trauma and its impact on couples’ relationship. Currently, she holds the position of Practicum Coordinator for the Postgraduate Programme in Counselling Psychology, while also offering Clinical Supervision to a large Organisation specialising in domestic violence.
