STIRNZIEGEL was part of the UIBK SPRING Robotic Fabrication workshop. The workshop focused on computationally designing and digitally fabricating a large-scale prototype structure using robotic 3D printing at the REX-LAB facility at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Participants had the opportunity to engage with robotic fabrication and experiment with computational techniques to produce complex and elaborate results.
STIRNZIEGEL is a new component that can interact with a shipping container and transform its spatial experience, making it suitable for outdoor use while considering weather conditions such as rain, snow, and sunlight. The component should also account for the additional weight caused by rain and snow.
