Dr Petros Petrikkos
Project Manager, Senior Research Associate
Dr Petros Petrikkos is a political, defence, and foreign policy analyst and researcher. He serves as the Project Manager at the Diplomatic Academy. He has held several posts and roles, including Managing and Reviews Editor at the Studies in Ethnicity and Nationalism (SEN), Journal at ASEN, and Publications Editor at the Cyprus Review. Petros also serves as member of the Academic Advisory Board of the Institute of Public, Cyber, and National Security. He is affiliated with UNIC’s Digital Transitions and Society (DIGITS) Research Centre, as well as with the European Security and Defence College at the EEAS and the Centre for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies (CEREES) at Queen Mary, University of London. He has held a HARNO Scholarship as a Visiting Researcher at Tallinn University. He holds a PhD in International Relations and European Studies from the Uiversity of Nicosia, a MSc in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in International Relations from Queen Mary, University of London. His research interests lie in foreign policy and the International Relations of Europe and the Middle East, cybersecurity and hybrid warfare in small states such as Estonia, civil society empowerment in Lebanon and Cyprus, corruption, intelligence and international security, as well as regional and intrastate conflict.
