Mission Statement for the AI Learning Centre (AI-LC)
At the AI Learning Centre, our key mission is to spearhead the integration of artificial intelligence into education, positioning the University of Nicosia at the forefront of innovative teaching and learning. Central to this mission is UNIC’s bespoke AI platform, Accelerate/PowerFlow, which empowers users with advanced AI affordances. We aim to foster an AI learning environment that is forward-thinking, reflective, and anchored in effective learning design principles.
Our Objectives:
- AI-Driven Digital Competencies: Equip learners, staff, and faculty with cutting-edge AI technologies alongside essential digital learning tools to develop advanced digital literacies and foster a culture of continuous skill enhancement.
- Revolutionary AI-Infused Learning Spaces: Create and implement learning environments where AI is seamlessly integrated into educational experiences, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and pedagogical innovation.
- Data-Informed Education: Harness the power of AI-driven analytics to provide real-time insights into learner progress, enabling personalized learning paths and enhancing engagement.
- Excellence in AI-Enhanced Teaching: Support educators in developing sustainable best practices through AI-powered teaching tools, enabling experimentation, reflection, and sharing of innovative approaches in digital education.
- Technology-Enhanced Learning Services: Continue to provide comprehensive support for digital learning platforms, tools, and technologies to enrich the educational experience across the University.
