Call for Applications | European Law Moot Court Competition 2024/2025
The Faculty of Law of the University of Nicosia offers students the opportunity to be part of the University of Nicosia’s team participating to the European Law Moot Court Competition’s 2024-2025 edition. The competition will start in September 2024.
The competition consists of three phases (from September 2024 to April 2025). During the first phase, team shall submit two written pleadings, one on behalf of the applicant and the other one on behalf of the defendant (November 2024). The teams selected on the basis of the written pleadings will then be called to plead in one of the regional finals, held in four different European cities (February 2025). The winners of each regional final will be invited to plead before the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg for the all-European final (April 2025).
The European Law Moot Court, which combines a written and an oral exercise, is, undoubtedly, a unique experience to apply the knowledge acquired during your studies and to have a hands-on experience regarding the legal profession.
The competition is bilingual in French and English, therefore, a good knowledge of both languages is required.
