Call for Applications for the LLB in Law of the University of Nicosia (English Law Courses)
The University of Nicosia announces the Call for Applications for sixty (60) positions for admission to the LLB in Law (English Law Courses) of the University of Nicosia for the Fall 2020 Semester.
This programme is designed to develop theoretical and practical knowledge, research and analytical skills, and the understanding of the processes necessary to develop a thorough comprehension and appreciation of the field and pursue a career in law. The programme will ensure that graduates are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the exciting opportunities, complex challenges and rapid growth that are certain to lie ahead in the near future.
The programme provides students with overall knowledge relating to law. It is designed to prepare students to be trained and become competent so that they may function effectively in this multi-dimensional and dynamic field. It addresses itself to individuals who (intend to) work in fields relevant with law (advocates, barristers, solicitors, judges, notaries, legal consultants), but also diplomats, employees of companies as well as public or private organisations, employees of non-governmental organisations, etc.
It is expected that the programme will enhance its graduates’ cognitive as well as managerial capacities; this will help them enrich their career opportunities. The programme particularly highlights issues that are of great theoretical and practical importance, encouraging an international approach, within the contemporary international and European context, with the aim of confronting contemporary problems and challenges in a theoretically informed, while practically efficient, way.
The programme is offered in English. This call refers exclusively to applicants to the English Law LLB courses.
