Dr Angelos Dados

Dr Angelos Dados is a part time lecturer at the University of Nicosia. He graduated in 1997 from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Ioannina. He obtained a MSc in Analytical Chemistry, in 2002. In 2007, he completed his postgraduate studies obtaining a PhD Degree in Chemistry. His research interests are mainly in the field of analytical and environmental chemistry. He has extensive experience in the remediation of polluted sites and the development and validation of analytical methods for the determination of analytes in environmental samples. In the last few years he is working on the synthesis and use of magnetic nanomaterials for the development of analytical methods for the determination of metals and organic compounds in environmental samples, food and body fluids. He participated in 17 research projects as coordinator, main researcher and research associate. His experience in teaching includes teaching in the following institutes: University of Ioannina, University of Cyprus, European University and the University of Nicosia. His research work is published in refereed scientific journals and conference proceedings.
