The Centre for Therapy, Training & Research (KESY) of the University of Nicosia invites you on Thursday 11th of November 2021, at 18:00-19:30 to the seminar “Breaking the silence: Talking about sexual abuse”.

Since the viral spread of the #MeToo movement in 2017, discussions of sexual abuse and consent have taken the world by storm. Despite the recent uproar, sexual abuse is by no means a recent occurrence. This seminar will provide participants with the opportunity to discuss what sexual abuse is, what the types of sexual abuse are, and debunk common myths associated with it. Useful resources will also be provided to interested participants.
