Tutorial 2: Pork Porchetta With Dried Fruits

Cooking can be time consuming and frustrating sometimes, especially if you are a busy person. However, that’s not the case, if guidance in creative shots is on offer! In order to get into the festive spirit and students fonder of cooking, UNIC’s Department of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the Culinary Arts-Intercollege, is organising a series of Cooking Snaps.

In this video broadcasted on Monday, 21 December at 18:00, lecturer Andreas Paschali will share some festive ideas about Pork Porchetta with Dried Fruits!

Porchetta, an obvious derivative of the word porco, “pork”, is nothing more than what it seems: a wonderful boneless pork roast (pork belly) wrapped in fat and skin and generously seasoned with garlic, thyme, rosemary and other aromatic herbs and spices. It’s cooked on a spit or in the oven for hours to create this delicious, moist and flavourful treat available almost everywhere in Italy.
