Seminar by the ICCY Young Arbitrators Forum with the support of the School of Law of the University of Nicosia
The ICCY Young Arbitrators Forum is organizing a seminar on Procedure in International Arbitration, with the support of the School of Law of the University of Nicosia, on 31 of May, between 17:00-20:00 at the UNESCO Amphitheatre, University of Nicosia.
The Discussions at this Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF) will focus on the differences in perspectives and expectations of parties and counsel coming from different backgrounds. The speakers will present solutions that are available in the ICC Rules (mentioning emergency, expedited procedures), IBA Rules and Prague Rules. Discussion will focus on possible enforcement implications of these solutions.
This seminar is aimed at young arbitration practitioners of approximately 40 years or under: counsel, arbitrators, corporate counsel or academics. Is an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration and to enrich their network in the region.
