Seminar 14: “Introduction to the Code of Practice and Regulations for Doctoral Programmes”
This presentation goes through and explains in detail Version 5 of the Code of Practice and Regulations for Doctoral Programmes, which was approved by the Senate of the University of Nicosia in January 2021. This policy includes among others all the stages of a student’s PhD journey, starting from the stage of application all the way to the stage of graduation.
PhD Programme Coordinators/Directors, members of the DPPC, Supervisors, as well as PhD students, are encouraged to attend this presentation in order to be informed about their responsibilities, rights and university PhD policies and processes.

Prof Demetris Vrontis
Vice Rector for Faculty and Research
Professor Demetris Vrontis is the Vice Rector for Faculty and Research and a Professor of Strategic Marketing Management at the University of Nicosia. Previously, Prof. Vrontis has served as the Executive Dean of the Distance Learning Unit (2012-2020), Dean of the School of Business (2006-2012) and Head of the Department of Marketing (2004-2005). Professor Vrontis has a wide academic, research and scholarly work.
