Dr Neophytos Karamanos

Dr Neophytos Karamanos is currently a Director at his computer services startup company, a part-time lecturer at the University of Nicosia and an Academic Associate at the University of Nicosia Medical School. He obtained his BSc and MSc in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Washington University in USA (1986, 1987), his MBA from Henley Management College in UK (2004) and his Doctorate in professional studies from Middlesex University in UK (2011). He also attended CIIM’s Executive Leadership Program (2006-2007). He has worked for 8 years at IBM as systems engineer and applications development project manager; 15 years at Laiki Bank in various IT posts including Director IT; 5 years at JCC as General Manager; 8 years at the University of Nicosia as part-time lecturer and 3 years as a tutor in Henley Management College’s distance learning program. He has extensive work experience in IT, general management and project management. Dr Karamanos has also conducted academic research in the areas of e-learning and technological innovation adoption. He has also served in the Board of Directors of several institutions including the University of Nicosia Research Foundation (UNRF).
