Programme Profile
The BBA Marketing Management degree aims to provide students with a comprehensive and holistic understanding of the core marketing principles, concepts, tools, trends and developments in modern marketing theory and practice.
The main educational competency/learning goals of the program are to:
- Deliver cutting edge content to build competency in a fundamental understanding of marketing content.
- Develop student skills in applying theoretical concepts to practice by using research and strategic tools of strategic marketing planning.
- Enable students to identify the critical role of consumers as being central within the marketing process.
- Enhance critical thinking abilities by considering varied viewpoints, alternative courses of action and their implications, examining ethical issues, and incorporating relevant stakeholders’ interests.
- Provide students with intellectually challenging marketing courses which fulfill the personal development of students whilst founded on scholarship and research.
The BBA Marketing Management degree is accredited by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education, and D.O.A.T.A.P (Greece). The degree is also accredited by the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), which is the world’s largest professional marketing body with members in over 120 countries and accredited study centres in more than 40 countries. MKTG-291 Marketing, MGT-281 Introduction to Management, and BADM-480 Task-Based Internship or MKTG-499 Marketing Practicum, PLUS 17 other Marketing Courses.

The BBA Marketing Management is currently the only academic degree in marketing management in Cyprus, which is a CIM accredited degree. Students will be exempt on an APL basis from:

It is among the most rapidly growing areas of business and not-for-profit organisations, both nationally and internationally. Due to the highly competitive nature of the field and its rapidly evolving ‘character’ there is a requirement for competent graduates. Career opportunities at graduate level range from: customer relations management, advertising, product and brand management, business development, public relations, sales, market research, marketing planning, and distribution.

Ακαδημαϊκή Εισδοχή
Το ελάχιστο κριτήριο εισδοχής στα προπτυχιακά προγράμματα σπουδών είναι το αναγνωρισμένο Απολυτήριο Λυκείου ή άλλο διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένο ισοδύναμο προσόν. Οι φοιτητές/τριες με βαθμό απολυτηρίου χαμηλότερο από 7.5/10 ή 15/20 ή αντίστοιχο, ανάλογα με το σύστημα βαθμολόγησης της χώρας έκδοσης του απολυτηρίου, λαμβάνουν, κατά το πρώτο έτος των σπουδών τους, επιπρόσθετη ακαδημαϊκή καθοδήγηση και παρακολούθηση.
Επαρκής Γνώση Αγγλικής Γλώσσας
Οι ελάχιστες απαιτήσεις γνώσης της αγγλικής γλώσσας για εγγραφή στα προγράμματα σπουδών αναγράφονται πιο κάτω. Οι φοιτητές/τριες που δεν κατέχουν κάποιο από τα πιο κάτω πιστοποιητικά ή τους ελάχιστους βαθμούς και κατέχουν IELTS με 4.5 και άνω, θα πρέπει να παρακαθήσουν τις κατατακτήριες εξετάσεις αγγλικής γλώσσας του Πανεπιστημίου – NEPTON (χωρίς χρέωση) και αν χρειαστεί, να παρακολουθήσουν υποστηρικτικά μαθήματα αγγλικής γλώσσας.

Η αξιολόγηση των μαθημάτων αποτελείται συνήθως από μια τελική εξέταση και συνεχή αξιολόγηση. Η συνεχής αξιολόγηση μπορεί να περιλαμβάνει μεταξύ άλλων, ενδιάμεση εξέταση, μελέτες, εβδομαδιαίες ασκήσεις/εργασίες, ανάλυση περιπτώσεων μελέτης, εβδομαδιαία συμμετοχή στα μαθήματα (για τα συμβατικά).
Η βαθμολογία υπολογίζεται βάσει του βάρους της τελικής εξέτασης, της συνεχούς αξιολόγησης και της πραγματικής αριθμητικής βαθμολογίας που λήφθηκε σε αυτές τις δύο αξιολογήσεις. Με βάση την βαθμολογία των μαθημάτων υπολογίζεται ο μέσος βαθμός του εξάμηνου (GPA) ενός φοιτητή καθώς και ο γενικός μέσος όρος (CPA).
Ο φοιτητής πρέπει να συμπληρώσει 240 ECTS καθώς και όλες τις απαιτήσεις του προγράμματος.
Ο ελάχιστος απαιτούμενος γενικός βαθμός (CPA) είναι 2.0. Παρά το γεγονός ότι με το βαθμό ‘D-‘ το μάθημα θεωρείται ότι ολοκληρώθηκε επιτυχώς, ο απαιτούμενος μέσος όρος είναι το ‘C’ για να επιτευχθεί ο ελάχιστος απαιτούμενος γενικός βαθμός (CPA) 2.0.
Με την επιτυχή ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος, οι φοιτητές θα είναι σε θέση να:
- Οι φοιτητές θα μπορέσουν να παρουσιάσουν μια βαθιά και ολοκληρωμένη γνώση των αρχών της διοίκησης μάρκετινγκ και πως αυτές λειτουργούν αποτελεσματικά με τις άλλες λειτουργίες του οργανισμού, και πως θεματικές ενότητες όπως η εταιρική κοινωνική ευθύνη, digital μάρκετινγκ, επικοινωνίες μάρκετινγκ, σχέσεις μάρκετινγκ και εσωτερικό μάρκετινγκ, και συμπεριφορά καταναλωτών και πως αυτές ενσωματώνονται στρατηγικά μέσα στον οργανισμό αλλά και στην τοπική και διεθνή οικονομία.
- Οι φοιτητές αναμένονται να αναπτύξουν ερευνητικές δεξιότητες οι οποίες είναι αναγκαίες στην ανάκτηση γνώσης όσο αφορά τους καταναλωτές και το περιβάλλον μάρκετινγκ, στον σχεδιασμό των στρατηγικών μάρκετινγκ, αλλά και στην ανάπτυξη και προσφορά προϊόντων και υπηρεσιών για την ικανοποίηση των διαφορετικών αναγκών των πελατών.
- Οι φοιτητές αναμένονται να διαμορφώσουν στρατηγικά σχέδια στη διοίκηση μάρκετινγκ (προϊόντα και την επωνυμία, τιμολογιακή πολιτική, δίαυλοι μάρκετινγκ, και επικοινωνία μάρκετινγκ), τα οποία στοχεύουν σε διαφορετικές αγορές τόσο καταναλωτικές όσο και επιχειρηματικές αγορές, για την επίτευξη ανταγωνιστικού πλεονεκτήματος.

MKTG-396 MARKETING RESEARCH AND DATA ANALYTICS IS ALSO A REQUIRED COURSE EVEN THOUGH IT IS NOT INDICATED AS SUCH IN THE PATH, BUT ALL THE STUDENTS HAVE TO TAKE IT. THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT IF THEY WANT TO DO THE BADM-493 FINAL YEAR PROJECT, WHICH REQUIRES THE STUDENT’S KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF MARKET RESEARCH METHODOLOGY.
