Sustainability Strategy at University of Nicosia (UNIC)
By devising a solid Sustainability Strategy, we plan ahead for a sustainable future. Our aim is to become the region’s most cost-effective, environmentally friendly and sustainable institution of excellence, whilst working with the authorities to improve the City of Nicosia, to give back to the society, and to contribute to continuous innovation in business and academia, in our efforts to positively shape the world.
Our strategy provides a strong outline through which we pursue economic, financial, social, environmental, and academic sustainability, with the aim to create a long-lasting vision and raise awareness over such issues. This strategy is the product of discussions between the Office of the Senior Vice Rector and several academic and administrative units at UNIC.
