The Department of Architecture cordially invites you to the event City-zen Roadshow Nicosia, 8-15 May 2019.
The City-zen Roadshow is open to anyone who is interested in making changes to create a healthier, happier and more energy efficient Nicosia (no matter what background or expertise).
The City-zen project is an EU funded project set to visit 10 cities in 10 countries by 2019. It aims to bring internationally recognised experts in architecture, technology and environmental sustainability together with local residents, municipalities and stakeholders to explore new ideas.
The Roadshow event is the final stage of the City-zen Nicosia project. The preliminary stage was the intense collaborative workshop SWAT Nicosia between faculty and students of Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) and the Department of Architecture of the University of Nicosia, that took place from 25 Feb- 8 Mar in ARC. Students of the department, alumni and faculty will also be involved in the Roadshow event.
People can choose to join as many “fun-shops” they want. On Tuesday, 14 May the last “fun-shop” open to the public will be held at the Architecture Research Centre, from 17-17:45.
