The Interactive Media and Animation programme of the Department of Design & Multimedia, invites you to join a workshop on how to design engaging motion graphics to enhance your brand, posts, and digital storytelling. The workshop will take place on Saturday, 15 March 2025, 09:30-13:00 at the Multimedia Lab B16 – Central Building.
Entrance is free and open to high school students and potential students interested in pursuing the BA Interactive Media and Animation programme.
Workshop content:
- Frame-by-frame animation for GIFs
- Motion design principles for social media
- Creating smooth, eye-catching transitions
- Designing GIFs for branding & digital marketing
Led by experienced faculty Poppy Aristidou and Dr Maria Christoforou.

- 09:30-09:45 | Registration & welcome
- 09:45-10:00 | Introduction to the Interactive Media and Animation programme
- 10:00-11:00 | Lecture: Motion graphics & GIF creation / practical session
- 11:00-11:30 | Break – tour of the animation and virtual reality studios
- 11:35-13:00 | Practical session / outcome presentation
