The Department of Communications at the University of Nicosia will host its annual PhD Symposium, presenting doctoral research in media and communications.

The event will showcase current research by PhD candidates exploring contemporary issues including disinformation and audience perceptions of the Russo-Ukrainian war on Telegram, The body image of women on TikTok, the media influence of the immigration crises in Greece and Cyprus, the lived experiences of virtual reality footage, and audience reception of Cyprus-related historical dramas Bir Zamanlar Kıbrıs and Famagusta.
