Socializing with other people is not always easy. Empathy, active listening, conflict resolution are essential tools for coexistence with those around us and for building healthy relationships.
In the context of the preventive and psycho-educational action of the Center for Therapy, Training and Research (KESY) of the University of Nicosia, weekly psycho-educational groups will begin, titled “Social skills for university students: social development and empowerment”, which will aim at teaching social skills and tools. In addition, empowerment and support will be provided to participants, to enable them to manage their interpersonal relationships more effectively.
Students of the University of Nicosia, studying in any year and field of study, can apply for participation in the group. The sessions will be held in English or Greek, depending on the participants. They will take place at KESY, on Fridays, at 17:00. The cycle of meetings will consist of 4 sessions and will start on June 14 and end on July 5. The groups will be facilitated by Τrainee Psychologists of the University of Nicosia.
