Despite modern treatments, tuberculosis remains a global public health concern, affecting millions worldwide. This event will feature the short film directed by Argyro Nicolaou, ‘Athalassa’, highlighting Dr Takis Evangelides, a key figure in combating tuberculosis in Cyprus during that era.

UNIC medical student volunteers will offer free blood pressure, glucose, and body mass index (BMI) measurements to the local and neighbouring communities.
