Dr Melpo Iacovidou

Dr Melpo Iacovidou holds a Doctorate in Quality Management from Middlesex University, UK, an M.B.A. from Adelphi University, USA (with Distinction) and a B.Sc. in Accounting from Indiana University Of Pennsylvania, USA.

Dr Iacovidou is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Academic Compliance Office of the University of Nicosia.

She is also the Project Team Member for the Industry Liaison Offices that operate in the Cyprus Republic and the Head of the Industry Liaison Office of the University of Nicosia. Dr Iacovidou is also a member of the Senate of the University of Nicosia, and the Associate Head of the Dept. of Accounting.
She served as a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Committee, as the Internal Quality Assurance Auditor of the University of Nicosia and as the Erasmus Institutional Coordinator.

She has extensive teaching experience in graduate and undergraduate level in higher educational institutions, has participated in various EU funded programs, has published in international journals, and has numerous conference presentations and proceedings. Dr Iacovidou has also supervised successfully both undergraduate, graduate and doctorate thesis. Her areas of research interest include Quality Management, Service Quality, Business Ethics, and Costing.
