8th International Symposium on Service-Learning (ISSL)
Critical Service-Learning Across the Globe: Transforming Teaching into Social Action
Virtual Symposium – 11 June 2021
Face-to-Face Symposium in Nicosia – 8-11 June 2022
Ongoing global developments and related international health and safety guidelines concerning COVID-19 have prompted the Planning Committee to reschedule the upcoming face-to-face 8th International Symposium on Service-Learning (ISSL) to June 2022. This is being done in service of delivering the best possible outcome for all concerned, with the safety and wellbeing of our participants and the communities we serve at the forefront of this decision.
While it is impossible to predict the spread of the coronavirus and fully understand its implications on the global scene, the ISSL Planning Committee is committed to coordinating and delivering a successful ISSL2022. In that vein, we look forward to building on the lessons and learning outcomes of previous Symposia, and to welcoming you to the University of Nicosia in June 2022.
Thank you all for your cooperation, commitment, understanding, and support in the process.
