Job Fairs οrganised by the Career Success Centre of the University of Nicosia

The Career Success Centre at the University of Nicosia is organising sector-specific job fairs to facilitate connections between young people and the local and international job markets. These events aim to link businesses with the University, its students, and graduates. For the Fall semester of 2024, the job fairs will focus on the sectors of Business and Marketing, Accounting and Finance, and Life and Health Sciences.

The job fairs will be held at The Block Gallery on the University Campus. Due to space limitations, approximately 50 businesses in total will participate in these career exhibitions. During the events, career advisors and company executives will provide information on practical issues related to entering and integrating into the job market, as well as details on available internships and employment opportunities. Business representatives will also discuss the nature of their work and the skills required in their respective sectors.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about companies in their field and network with professionals in areas of their interest. They can discuss employment opportunities and gain a better understanding of the industry they wish to join. Additionally, participants can submit their resumes and conduct on-site interviews with companies of interest.

The detailed schedule of the fairs follows:

Monday, 25 November 2024 11:30-15:00  Life & Health Sciences Job Fair
School of Life and Health Sciences
Tuesday, 26 November 2024 11:30-15:00  Interdisciplinary Business & Marketing Job Fair

Wednesday, 27 November 2024 11:30-15:00     Accounting & Finance Job Fair

These job fairs are part of a broader initiative by the Career Success Centre to familiarize students and graduates with the job market, facilitate their integration, strengthen their professional networks, and ultimately enhance their employability.
