UNIC Medical Schools and the Medical School of the University of Cyprus together with Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health invite you to the 3rd Scientific Symposium titled ‘Emerging Climatic and Environmental Health Risks in the Mediterranean’.
The event will take place on Thursday, 23 January 2025, at 15:00 in the Amphitheatre of the Medical School at the University of Cyprus, located at the Shakoleio Educational Centre of Clinical Medicine in Nicosia.
During the symposium, academics, researchers, and Harvard graduate students specialising in Environmental and Public Health will present findings from data analyses of scientific studies conducted in Cyprus and other Mediterranean regions. This analysis includes data provided by relevant government agencies such as the Department of Labour Inspection, the General State Laboratory, the Meteorological Service of Cyprus, the Statistical Service of Cyprus, and the Health Monitoring Unit of the Ministry of Health.
