Following the approval by the University Senate and Council, we are pleased to announce the formation of the Unit for Diversity Competence (UDC) in Healthcare and Healthcare Education, which will operate under the UNIC Health umbrella. The mission of the UDC is to nurture an inclusive and culturally competent environment within our healthcare community. Μελέτη διατροφής και γνωστικής λειτουργίας σε ενήλικες 45-65 ετών: μελέτη NUTRICO Αν είστε κάτοικος Κύπρου, ηλικίας 45-65 ετών και δεν λαμβάνετε θυροξίνη, μπορείτε να λάβετε μέρος στη μελέτη NUTRICO.  Η μελέτη στοχεύει στη συσχέτιση της διατροφής και άλλων παραγόντων τρόπου ζωής με τη γνωστική λειτουργία.   Η μελέτη διεξάγεται διαδυκτιακά στο δικό σας χώρο και χρόνο (θα πρέπει να έχετε στη διάθεσή σας υπολογιστή) και απαιτεί μόνο την συμπλήρωση ενός ερωτηματολογίου (15-20 λεπτά) και μία σύντομη νευρογνωστική αξιολόγηση (25-30 λεπτά) της μνήμης, συγκέντρωσης, προσοχής σας κι άλλων νευρογνωστικών λειτουργιών. On Monday, 13 February 2023, on the occasion of the International Condom Day, the UNIC Department of Student Affairs, the Mobile Clinic, and the Medical Centre, in collaboration with the AIDS Solidarity Movement Cyprus, organised a Sexual Health event on campus. The participants had the opportunity to learn more about safer sexual practices, including PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) and PrEP (Pre Exposure Prophylaxis), receive free condoms, lubricants and informative material and get tested for HIV/Syphilis.
