Dr Constantinos Michael
Undergraduate studies at the Pedagogical Academy of Cyprus (Teacher’s Diploma, 1988), the University of Cyprus (BA in Education Studies – Primary Education 1998) and the University of Patras, Greece (BA in Educational Sciences – Primary Education, 1999). Graduate studies at the University of Cyprus (MA in Educational Management and Curriculum Development, 2001 & PHD in Curriculum Development and Instruction, 2014).
Professional career as a Teacher since 1990 and Deputy Head-teacher since 2004 at public primary schools. Since 2010 he is a Primary School Head-teacher at public schools in Cyprus. During the years 2014 and 2016 has taught at the University UCLAN Cyprus. Currently is a part-time lecturer at the University of Nicosia. He has also worked for the ministry of Education and Culture in a variety of developmental projects. Since 2014, he is the president of the Pancyprian Head-teachers’ Committee (POED). His research and professional interests are related to democracy and justice in education, quality in education, and teachers’ development with regard to Educational Leadership perspective.
