NEOLAiA European University Alliance Announces Remote Sessions on Research Infrastructures
The NEOLAiA European University Alliance announces a series of monthly remote sessions throughout 2025. These events are designed to highlight advanced research infrastructures and encourage collaboration among researchers, particularly young scholars across the NEOLAiA universities.
The first session, organised by Örebro University, will take place on February 25, 2025, from 11:00 to 12:00 GMT. This session includes:
- Presentation on the Center for Experimental and Biomedical Imaging (CEBIO): Per Thunberg will provide insights into CEBIO’s organisation and its research projects.
- Advancements in Medical Research through Mass Spectrometry: Samira Salihovic will introduce the team, infrastructure, and recent findings in diagnostic markers and drug monitoring.

The second session, hosted by the University of Tours, is scheduled for March 25, 2025, from 11:00 to 12:00 GMT. The highlights include:
- Presentation by Louis Lantier: As the Infrastructure Project Manager of Loire Val-Health, Lantier will discuss regional innovations in healthcare.

NEOLAiA is an innovative European University alliance connecting campuses across nine countries with a unified digital identity. The alliance focuses on digital transformation, diversity and inclusion, and enhanced mobility, providing University of Nicosia students the opportunity to experience studies at partner universities throughout Europe.
The alliance has secured €14.4 million in funding from the European Commission for a four-year project commencing on 1 January 2024, making it one of seven successful applicants from a pool of 39.
