Exness CMO, Alfonso Cardalda, Inspires Future Marketing Talent at the University of Nicosia

Alfonso Cardalda, Exness’ Chief Marketing Officer, recently gave a guest lecture to students in the Marketing Research and Data Analytics course of the Business Administration (Marketing and Digital Media) programme offered at the University of Nicosia. During the session, Cardalda shared practical insights on navigating the evolving marketing landscape and engaged with students about their aspirations and career paths.

Focusing on bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world practice, Cardalda emphasised the importance of vision, perseverance, adaptability, and embracing challenges in a fast-moving industry like fintech. Using examples from his own career, he demonstrated how innovation, data, and emotional connections with audiences form the foundation of impactful marketing campaigns.

Drawing on his experience leading marketing campaigns for renowned brands, Cardalda highlighted the role of research and data analysis in understanding consumer behavior. “You need to go inside the mind of the client. You need to understand what they feel and their motivations to drive campaigns that truly resonate,” he explained. He referenced Exness’ recent rebranding and the “Born to Trade” campaign as examples of how aligning a brand’s identity with the aspirations of its audience can lead to lasting success.

Reflecting on his experience at the University as guest lecturer, Cardalda said: “It’s not every day that you get to engage with young, brilliant minds. I hope I left them with something valuable that they will carry into their future careers. These students will define the future of marketing, and I believe they have what it takes to leave a lasting impact.”
