Professor Christos Panagiotopoulos
Professor Christos Panagiotopoulos received his PhD in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Practice and Research, from The University of Manchester in 2002. He is currently teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Nicosia. His research interests focus on mental health and well-being of children and families and in interdisciplinary practices in school settings. He is a member of the Editorial board in the European Journal of Social Work and the Czech and Slovak Journal of Social Work (English edition). He is also member in e-journals in educational research. Since 2017, he has been a member in the executive committee of the European Association of Schools of Social Work. He has published a series of articles on the above topics in journals related to Social Work and Mental Health. He is also editor in the Greek book ‘’School and Social Work; applied interdisciplinary practices’’ and ‘’Financial Crisis and Social Work; Mediterranean vignettes’’.
