SafePass is Required to Enter the University Premises
From 1 August 2021 until further notice, all members of the University community and all visitors over the age of 12 will be required to display an official SafePass certificate when visiting the University of Nicosia premises. In addition, the holder of the certificate must present an identity card or a passport, for identification purposes.
Please note that all measures for controlling the spread of COVID-19 are still in effect, including using masks at all times, observing the minimum distance between individuals, observing the maximum number of people permissible in a venue, and avoiding overcrowding.
The SafePass Certificate requirements are:
- A vaccination certificate for COVID-19 with at least one dose administered, provided that three (3) weeks have elapsed since the vaccination date.
- Official documentation in the case of persons who fell ill with COVID-19 within the last six (6) months of initially being diagnosed as positive.
- A negative COVID-19 laboratory test or rapid antigen test result carried out within the last 72 hours.
