We are strong believers in the effective use of technology to advance education and it is only fitting that the first academic department to fully embrace this vision would be that of Education. Today, the Department of Education at the University of Nicosia is a leader in online education in Europe. Through our Masters programmes in Education Sciences, we are educating thousands of aspiring teachers by using the most up-to-date technologies and learning design theory. The department also supports the UNESCO Chair at UNIC, focused on intercultural dialogue.
