Welcome to the Department of Languages and Literature!

You will be taught how to think critically and navigate academic work, but also how to enjoy the world of theoretical ideas and deal with very practical problems we encounter every day. Our Department offers several accredited undergraduate and graduate degree programmes which provide training in four key areas:
- linguistics
- foreign language teaching
- anglophone literatures and cultures
- AI and content management in the digital media
Most importantly, we will provide you with the necessary transferable skills which can be applied in a number of professional sectors, for example in language teaching, research in linguistics and literature, social media writing and management, translation and interpretation, cultural services, and publishing jobs.
