Synthetic Biology Conference at the University of Nicosia

IGEM in the struggle to solve problems in all areas of Health

Synthetic Biology and its applications contribute to solving major problems in all areas of Health, as well as to biofuel production, development of innovative methods, drug production, etc. These applications were examined and thoroughly analyzed during the works of the first-ever Synbio Conference in Cyprus, held at the premises of the University of Nicosia.

The conference scope was dedicated to the advancement of synthetic biology and to informing students and academics of the opportunities offered through iGEM to implement small, internationally recognized research projects through funding.

The 1st SynBio Conference in Cyprus was co-organized by iGEM, the University of Nicosia, the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine, the Institute of Neurology and Genetics and the European University of Cyprus.
