Check all AI results for accuracy, fairness, and potential harm. Ultimately, it’s human oversight that safeguards responsible use.
At the AI Learning Centre, we're dedicated to helping University of Nicosia students thrive in a world that's increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence. We understand how AI is transforming both the academic and professional landscapes, so we're committed to offering regular training sessions that show students how to use AI tools effectively and ethically. Building on events like our recent webinar (in collaboration with the Student Success Centre), "Empowering Your Academic and Professional Journey with AI", these sessions will be designed to give students practical insights into how AI can be used as an assistant to support their studies.
We're also passionate about making sure students grasp the ethical considerations of using AI in both education and a future career. Our training doesn't just cover the technical aspects—we encourage students to think critically about data privacy, fairness, and responsible use of technology. As AI continues to reshape the job market, we want to prepare students for the future by highlighting how AI can play a role in their career development and offering guidance on leveraging these skills for professional growth. Through well-thought-out training, we aim to empower students to become proactive leaders and innovators who can navigate the evolving AI landscape with confidence, integrity, and a commitment to making a positive impact on society.
