The Summer 2024 Technology Enhanced Learning Centre (TELC) Newsletter Is Out!
This Summer 2024 newsletter brings a range of updates to UNIC faculty and staff. The main message is that, despite the rapid advancement of AI technologies, TELC has implemented several initiatives to keep everyone at UNIC up to date. For example, (1) one-to-one Accelerate/Powerflow training sessions have been successfully introduced, (2) a weekly AI news email is sent out to all (check your ‘other’ folder), and (3) a TELC Facebook page with daily updates has been set up. Furthermore, more initiatives are being planned, such as support for prompt engineering and expanded one-to-one training options for other technologies we use.
In today’s fast-paced tech landscape, staying current with AI advancements is crucial for maintaining a competitive edge and enhancing our educational practices. AI is transforming teaching and learning, offering innovative tools that benefit our academic community. By staying updated, we can leverage the best resources to support our students and faculty.
