The University of Nicosia (UNIC), the Academic College at Wingate, and the Olympic Committee of Israel are co-organising “The 5th International Congress of Exercise and Sport Sciences”, at The Academic College at Wingate, Israel, between 7-10 June 2018.
The biannual ICESS will focus on a wide range of themes related to exercise and the sport sciences. This includes topics such as sports management, sports psychology, Olympic education, physiology, social issues in sport, public health issues, sports pedagogy, physiology of emergency forces, social issues in sport, and sport nutrition, among others.
The goal of ICESS is to bring together leading professionals and researchers in the field of exercise and sport sciences, in order to stimulate scientific and social dialogue over the three days of lectures, workshops, and social events. Previous ICESS Congresses have been attended by over 2000 participants from across the globe.
Prof. Nicos Kartakoullis will be delivering a keynote speech titled: Good Governance in Sports: Challenges and Opportunities.
The schedule includes sessions presenting original research, panel discussions, poster presentations, and practical workshops.
