The Association of Electrical, Mechanical & Energy Engineering Consultants Awards Outstanding Graduates at University of Nicosia
On Thursday 27 June 2024, the Cyprus Association of Electrical, Mechanical & Energy Consultants presented awards to the top graduates of the Department of Engineering of the University of Nicosia.
The awards highlight the excellence and outstanding performance of students in the fields of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Recognising the remarkable effort and exceptional professionalism of the new engineering graduates, the Association also offered a cash prize with each award.
Mr. Antonios Karseras, President of the Association, presented the awards to Angelos Zisimou, a graduate of the Mechanical Engineering programme, and Konstantinos Koutsikos, a graduate of the Electrical Engineering programme. Both graduates distinguished themselves by achieving top performances their programmes for all years of study, as well as completing the most successful senior year project in their year, in their respective programmes.
In addition, both graduates are already working in the engineering field. Konstantinos Koutsikos is working in a start-up company in Greece and Angelos Zissimou in a mechanical engineering company in Cyprus.
The Department of Engineering of the University of Nicosia congratulates Angelos Zissimou and Konstantinos Koutsikos for their remarkable achievements and wishes them continued success in their professional careers.
