University of Nicosia Graduating Students joined the Event “Kickstarting a Career in Sales and Business Development” at Flyfish

The Career Success Centre, collaborating with Flyfish and the Department of Management – headed by Prof. Ktoridou – at the School of Business, organised an engaging on-site company visit on 19 April 2024 at Flyfish’s offices. Themed “Kickstarting a Career in Sales and Business Development” the event aimed to equip graduating students with invaluable insights and networking opportunities.

Attendees, nearing graduation in pertinent fields of study, seized the chance to interact with Flyfish’s representatives. This engagement provided them with firsthand knowledge of potential employment opportunities, thereby enhancing their prospects of being selected as candidates in a competitive job market.

Throughout the day, participants were involved in diverse activities designed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application. Commencing with a networking session during breakfast, students had the opportunity to establish connections and gain insights from industry professionals. The event further included a welcome speech and a fintech workshop, facilitated by Flyfish’s CEO, offering an overview of the company’s operations and technological innovations.

Moreover, a crash course on B2B sales, featuring the Chief Business Development Officer, provided invaluable perspectives on the world of sales and business development. The day was wrapped up by an interactive group activity, fostering collaboration and critical thinking among participants.
