INVITATION TO INTRODUCTORY LECTURE
The evolution of official food controls: risk drivers
by Dr Eleni Michalopoulou, Associate Professor, UNIC School of Veterinary Medicine
BRIEF SUMMARY
What risks do official food controls aim to address? Public health often tops the list, followed by animal health and trade interests. But is this the true priority order? We will explore this question through historical examples.
