It’s a Student Affair

It’s a Student Affair newsletter was the official medium that the Department of Student Affairs used to communicate with students.

Staff and faculty members were encouraged to contribute with any noteworthy news to the university student community. It was published twice a year and appeared additionally on the intranet.

Through this publication, the University of Nicosia community got updated with the students’ latest accomplishments, participation in competitions, new programmes of study, events and activities mainly organised for and with the students, etc. In addition, since being a student does not only mean having a giggling time but also studying wisely, effectively and efficiently, ‘It’s a Student Affair’ informed students over the tools (e.g. Intranet) and services (e.g. Student Success Centre) available to them. Seminars, workshops and exhibitions (e.g. Careers Exhibition) were additionally announced through this newsletter.
